We set a goal of $7,500 to fund Fresh Day on the Road. As of today, 121 individuals have donated a total of $7,590.
Those generous donations paid for a rental car, hotel rooms, food, fuel, and On the Road blog, with enough in reserve to underwrite the cost of publishing an e-book called "Two-lane Theology."
Watch for news about publication. In the meantime, thanks to all who made this pilgrimage possible. I drove 4,066 miles in 23 days, passed through 14 states, four time zones, terrain as varied as a desert, rich farmland, cattle-grazing land, and mountains, met some interesting people, ate several kinds of barbecue, and only had fast-food once. My thoughts went deep, and my faith was impacted.
The trip was, as many of you wished, "Happy Trails."
